To mark World Mental Health Day on 10 October the Child Outcomes Research Consortium (CORC) has launched a new toolkit for schools and colleges to support the measurement and monitoring of children and young people’s mental wellbeing, in partnership with the Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families, the Evidence Based Practice Unit, Common Room and Public Health England.

More than 20,000 people have given their views on the top priorities for reshaping mental health services as part of a drive to develop a five-year national NHS strategy for people of all ages.

For the third year running, Equinox Lewisham and Quo Vadis Trust are co-sponsoring the Lewisham Mental Health Conference 2015, supported this year by Lewisham Council and many Lewisham Mental Health Connection members.

South London & Maudsley Foundation Trust (SLaM), our local main mental health provider of inpatient and community services, will be inspected by Care Quality Commission (CQC) during the week of 23 September 2015. Healthwatch Bromley and Lewisham wants to collect patient and carer feedback and experiences to help guide the inspection of SLaM.

They would like you and/or service users to attend a drop-in session on Friday 31 July, 2pm – 4.30pm at St Laurence Centre.

Mental Health Awareness Week (MHAW), 11-17 May,  aims to raise awareness and generate public debate about health and wellbeing issues, such as anxiety and sleep deprivation.
