Voluntary Action Lewisham is recruiting a new chairperson - could it be you? 

The Safer Lewisham Partnership wants to hear the views and experiences of crime and anti-social behaviour from communities right across the borough. The results of the Lewisham crime survey will be used by the partnership to help in setting its annual priorities and strategic action plan.

Lewisham Council is invite proposals for the 'meanwhile use' of three properties in Catford town centre for diverse, creative, commercial, residential and mixed-used occupation.

The proposed properties for development are:

One in five of Lewisham's children are overweight or obese at the start of school and two in five are obese or over weight by the start of secondary school.

Lewisham is the 13th largest borough in London, by population and the fifth largest in inner London, with a population of around 292,000 (Mid-year estimate, ONS, 2014). This is estimated to rise to over 318,000 by 2021.
