VAL supports the involvement of the voluntary and community sector in a number of local strategic networks, boards and meetings in Lewisham. Our aim is to ensure that the voice of the sector is heard and able to influence decision making that improve outcomes for local people.
Voluntary and community sector representatives serve on these boards and networks to make the concerns of the sector heard in discussions and decision making that has an impact on the wellbeing of Lewisham residents. These include the Health and Wellbeing Board, Early Help Strategy Board and Adult Safeguarding Board.
