Charity Finance Group's Small charities programme aims to develop the knowledge and financial capabilities of small charities (with an annual income of up to a million pounds), helping them to inform their decision making, improving their resilience and increasing the difference they make in their communities.
The training covers five key themes:

- How to prepare your reporting
- Introduction to paying people
- Bank accounts, outsourcing, accounting principles and managing risk
- Gift Aid and how to claim it, trading and VAT
