Specialist Adviser - Ambition
Lillian has over 20 years’ experience working alongside a wide range of voluntary and community groups, providing training and development support to help them to establish, develop and run quality services.
Lillian supports organisations to become sound and sustainable foundations in a fast changing environment. She also leads on making the whole funding process more accessible, helping groups to identify the right funding mix for their setting. She also leads on facilitating collaborative or partnership bids, and heads up the Show your impact programme.
Policy and Communications Coordinator
Mark has worked in the charity sector for over 25 years, most of that time working for CVS (Councils for Voluntary Service) organisations. He has worked for Voluntary Action Lewisham for a total of six years. He is the Policy and Communications Coordinator. Outside of work Mark is a volunteer at two arts charities and also volunteers at his local weekly Parkrun.

Finance and Administration Officer
Vani joined VAL in March 2015. She brings years of experience and knowledge of finance in diversified industries within the private sector. She is very passionate about using her skills within the charity sector, and feels that joining VAL and being in charge of its financial activities is a great opportunity to satisfy her thirst for learning new skills.

Administration and Premises Coordinator
Amin joined VAL in October 2019. Amin has been working as a Co-ordinator for a non-profit organisation who works for disabled children in overseas for over last five years.
Amin is responsible for providing executive support to VAL's CEO and board of trustees along with managing the Mulberry Centre by ensuring compliance with legal and contractual requirements, health and safety, insurance, liaising with LBL regarding issues, reporting and monitoring repairs and other requests.

Community Development Worker - Volunteering
Acting Chief Executive
Chris has over 25 years’ experience working in the voluntary sector, enjoying a variety of roles in financial management and organisational development. Formerly VAL’s community accountant, trainer and specialist adviser, she has worked with social enterprises, start-ups and established charities on a wide range of issues around business and strategic planning, governance and social enterprise. She is also a coach and facilitator, offering one-to-one and group sessions to help individuals and organisations thrive in their work. Chris is a creative problem solver who enjoys finding new solutions to the challenges faced by the VCSE sector. Her role at VAL now focuses on steering the organisation through its forthcoming merger.
