Wellbeing map of local services

23 Mar 2020
The Lewisham Wellbeing Map was established in early 2018 by Tim Bradley and was launched publicly this month.
It's a way of mapping local and borough wide health and social services in Lewisham in order to provide easier access for individuals, but also to reduce the pressure on GPs and Link-workers who work on social prescribing.
The map is now being developed alongside the Council and the Bellingham Community Project, and has secured funding in order to expand and continue developing the map for use by the general public and Health and Social workers.
So far, the map has over 1000 services added, and provides a view of both borough wide services but also more local services for those that need them.
They are hoping that by providing this map, they can reduce pressure on frontline services by opening up easy access to social prescribing and signposting to services.
