Views on SEN services in Lewisham
Councils have a duty to provide a free, confidential and impartial Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Information Advice and Support Service (SENDIASS) for parents/carers and young people aged 16 to 25 years with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND).
When they review services such as SENDIASS, they are thinking about what improvements can be made to our service and the experience for parent/carer and young people with SEND.
The council would like to hear from parents and carers who have used SENDIASS and received information, advice and support.
They would also welcome views from parents and carers who have not used SENDIASS, particularly if they have experienced challenges accessing the service.
An online survey is available for residents to share their views.
