How you can help to be part of the solutions to violence in Lewisham

Lewisham Council is inviting you to a drop-in information event on Thursday 16th May 2019 from 16:00-20:00.

This is an exciting opportunity to find out about a new community led approach to tackle violence in our borough.

Address: Glass Mill Leisure Centre, 41 Loampit Vale, London se13 7ft

This approach is about holding ‘Community Conversations’ on the topic of violence with groups and communities across Lewisham.

We know that together we can prevent violence in Lewisham. Through these Conversations a wide range of people will come together to think about, discuss and find solutions to reducing violence.

To achieve this we need you. We are looking for people like you to help us with the branding, planning and delivery of the meetings.

The afternoon is for anyone who lives or works in Lewisham and wants to find out how to get involved. These events are for all, no specialist knowledge is required. You can drop-in anytime throughout the afternoon/evening to speak to our representatives and find out how to get involved

This is the first of 2 information events. The second will be held on 24th May, contact Caroline.Dart@lewisham.gov.uk for more information.
