Opportunity to shape London wide services for mental health

Exciting opportunity to shape London wide mental health services

The Advocacy Project  is working with NHS England and Healthy London Partnership to recruit people with lived experience of mental health difficulties (individuals and carers) to feed into a London-wide mental health project called the Adult Mental Health Transformation Programme. This is a voluntary position.

They are looking for people who are passionate about improving London’s mental health services to be involved in the project. There are various ways that people can take part:
-              Sharing your views

-              Attending events

-              Representing the voice of people with lived experience at meetings

-              Co-production projects

They train people to get involved with the project and offer ongoing support and supervision to make sure that representatives are genuinely involved in shaping services and plans.  They see this as a really exciting opportunity and a chance for people to have a voice and shape services at a strategic level. To get involved, please contact Sarah Joy Dawoud on 020 8969 3000 or at sarah.joy@advocacyproject.org.uk, for more information and to download an application form go to https://www.advocacyproject.org.uk/news/shaping-....
