Show your impact Class of 2016

At the final training session of our Show your impact programme, funded by City Bridge Trust, we presented certificates to the first participants of Year 1 of the programme.

Ten candidates - including managers and trustees of community organisations and social enterprises - took part in the flagship programme, which included a mix of half-day workshops, one-to-one support and peer support designed to help them to more effectively identify, measure and communicate their impact to their stakeholders.

Certificates were presented to:

  • Rebecca Packwood (Age Exchange)
  • Carole Litchmore (First Principles)
  • Roz Hardie (Lewisham Disability Coalition)
  • Royston John (NCBI)
  • Trevor Parkes (Oak Hill Community Nursery)
  • Julie Rush (New Cross & Deptford Families First)
  • Barbara Gray (Urban Dandelion)
  • Carole Letchford (Young Lewisham Project)

Christine De Ionno from Cassell Centre, Philippe Granger and Susan Ryder from Rushey Green Time Bank, and Gwen Evans from Oak Hill Community Centre were not in attendance on the day, but will be presented with certificates later.

'We couldn't have asked for a more engaged and committed group to help us kick off the programme,' said Lillian Brown, VAL's project lead for Show your impact. 'They worked hard and really bonded as a group.'

One graduate, Roz Hardie, already applied the learning from the last session, Communicating your impact, by making use of a digital communications tool, Stupeflix, to highlight the charity's achievements in the last year. Take a look here
