Event details

In these times of austerity and funding cuts, the voluntary sector is under increasing pressure to deliver more for less. Collaborative working and partnerships are one approach to expanding our reach, discovering innovative new approaches and sharing costs.

This conference will present a mix of speakers from the sector sharing their knowledge and experience on collaboration. Hear from Alan Lawrie (co-author of Collaborative Working) about the context and drivers for collaboration; Lillie Swift (Funding Manager, Big Lottery Fund) for a funder’s perspective on collaborative working; and success stories from those already undertaking partnership work in the borough.

Participants will be able to attend two of the three workshops on offer for more detailed guidance on:

  • Tools, models and due diligence for collaboration
  • What makes a strong partnership project?
  • Digital tools for collaboration

The final Open Space session will be co-produced with attendees to allow discussion of topics of relevance to them.

Come and join us to learn more about the how and why of collaboration and make connections with potential partners to achieve greater impact for individuals and communities in Lewisham.

Who is this event for?

Trustees or directors and senior staff of charities, social enterprises and community groups working with Lewisham residents. Places are limited to a maximum of two people per organisation.
