This short workshop will give an overview of the responsibilities and roles of charity trustees and those who are management committee members for small community groups. Using the Code of Good Governance as a framework we will look at issues such as

  • the trustees’ role in guiding the organisation’s direction
  • the relationship between the Chair and the Director/Manager
  • how trustees can maintain a focus on outcomes for beneficiaries

Refreshments will be provided.

Who is this event for?

This session is suitable for new trustees and committee members as well as those who would like a refresher.
