Experienced GDPR trainer Paul Ticher is running two workshops around data protection and the new GDPR regulations, specifically for small groups. So the GDPR panic is over, the sky has not fallen, and the dust is settling. What next? Data Protection is still a critical piece of legislation for all organisations, including charities and community groups, which you need to be compliant with - or working towards compliance. Protecting your beneficiaries is crucial to maintain trst and transparency.

Learn about how Data Protection laws affect your organisation, and what steps you should take to become compliant. The GDPR law came into effect from 25 May 2018, so if you haven't already taken steps - or if you are still confused about how to implement it - this workshop is for you.

Cancellation and refunds

As this is a high-value course, on this occasion we can only refund cancellations up to 7 days prior to the event. Cancellations with more than 7 days' notice will be refunded, less a £5 admin fee. Cancellations less than 7 days' before the event are not eligible for a refund.

Please contact us as soon as possible if you are no longer able to attend, so that we can offer your place to someone else. Please note that from January 2017 all sessions now carry a £5 non-refundable admin fee (ticket prices are inclusive of this fee).

Please note that photography will take place at this event. Photos will be used for promotion and marketing of VAL's services, including on our website and social media, and in reports to funders. If you do not want your photo to be used for this purpose, please speak to a member of staff on the day.
