The importance of safeguarding champions

Adult Safeguarding - Anticipation and Prevention

This week we were at the Lewisham Safeguarding Adults Board conference on Adult Safeguarding - Anticipation and Prevention.

The conference was an excellent opportunity for safeguarding professionals within the borough to learn new procedures, exchange best practice and network with colleagues. It was attended by practitioners, care home managers and staff, nursing professionals, housing providers, voluntary sector, emergency services and the safeguarding organisations that make up LSAB.

We'll be adding some information shortly about the importance of being a safeguarding champion shortly.
