Voluntary Action Lewisham or VAL, as we are often known, is the Council for Voluntary Service (CVS) in the London Borough of Lewisham.

We were formed in 1967 and have worked continuously over the past 40 years to support and represent the work of voluntary and community organisations in the borough.

We are members of NAVCA (The National Association for Voluntary and Community Action) and are committed to fulfilling NAVCA’s essential roles for CVSs:
