Voluntary Action Lewisham

We share the vision of Lewisham Council to make Lewisham “the best place in London to live, work and learn”. Our particular vision is threefold:

• The creation of a voluntary and community sector that is adequately resourced and operates to the highest professional standards.
• The recognition of the sector as a major contributor to the welfare and well-being of the borough and its citizens.
• The empowerment of local communities, enabling people to make decisions about, and accept responsibility for, matters that affect them.
