Capacity building funding grants up to £3,000 are available to local providers to help improve their service delivery and referrals and to support their sustainability. 

The capacity building funding is designed to develop organisations capacity to deliver services and support sustainability rather than fund direct service delivery to clients.

For example, by investing in staff training, marketing or maybe bid writing support.

Eligibility Criteria:

• The organisation must be delivering services to Lewisham residents
• The application must demonstrate how the grant will build the organisation's capacity to support Lewisham residents aged 19 years plus, into routes to employment
• The application must support the Lewisham Service Providers Forum to achieve its key outcomes (outlined above)
• Individuals cannot apply
• The capacity building funding must be spent before 31st March 2012
• Grant payment will be made directly upon receipt of proof of purchase in the form of dated invoices (please see attached E.proc invoicing procedure)
