The Bitesize Finance series of short courses is designed for people working or volunteering in the voluntary and community sector. Each course in the series gives a simple introduction to a practical finance topic. Courses can be booked individually or you can book all six and get one free.
Bitesize Budgeting will help you:
Understand the need to record your organisation's income and expenditure
How to use a cash book to record day to day spending
Typical headings and how to adapt them for your organisation
The course is suitable for beginners with little or no knowledge of bookkeeping or financial matters. It is ideal for committee members, admin or finance workers, co-ordinators as well as finance volunteers.
Follow up support is available to help you put your learning into practice and more advanced training is available if you would like to learn more.
